Edgars & Norah // Multicultural Destination Wedding Vietnam

Norah & Edgars are a couple currently living in Australia. The groom is from Latvia, while the bride is from Vietnam. They chose Da Nang, Vietnam, for their destination wedding, resulting in a truly multicultural celebration.

After exchanging vows on one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam, they performed the candle lighting ceremony, a Latvian tradition symbolizing light and hope for their marriage.

The evening began with an impressive introduction, featuring the Kaku lauzana ceremony from Latvia. Together, they broke a dish, and the number of shattered pieces represents the number of children they wish to have after marriage.

Their guests were treated to a delectable Vietnamese buffet filled with delicious local cuisine.

The first dance was performed in traditional Latvian attire, showcasing the intimacy and pride in each other’s cultures.

Various ceremonies and rituals from both cultures demonstrated the spirit of unity, sincerity, and well-wishes for their marriage from family and friends.

Kind words

From the first consultation to the day itself, the team at Thien Tong Photography showed us the true meaning of professionalism, and kindness, married with a genuine, warm personal touch. Thien and his team captured the emotions we struggle to put into words when someone asks about the most magical day of our lives. The grandeur of the occasion, the little details, the candid laughter, the tears of joy, and the intimate, unspoken connections between us as newlyweds – all were encapsulated in their work.

So anh Thien and team, from the bottom of our hearts, Thank You. You have left us with a collection of visual memories that we will treasure for a lifetime. Thank you for being a part of our special day and for cheering us on!
